Our refund and cancellation policy for truck repair services

Overview

At Waddington Daniel & Nona ("WDN Truck Service"), we strive to provide quality service and customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds, cancellations, and service disputes.

Service Satisfaction Policy

We stand behind the quality of our work and are committed to resolving any issues with our services. If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact us immediately so we can address your concerns.

Appointment Cancellations

Advance Cancellations

  • Appointments cancelled with 24+ hours notice: Full refund of any deposits paid
  • Appointments cancelled with 2-24 hours notice: 50% refund of deposits
  • Appointments cancelled with less than 2 hours notice: No refund of deposits
  • No-shows: No refund of deposits and may be charged a service fee

Emergency Situations

We understand that vehicle breakdowns and emergencies can occur unexpectedly. In cases of documented emergencies or vehicle breakdowns that prevent you from keeping your appointment, we may waive cancellation fees on a case-by-case basis.

Service Refunds

Diagnostic Services

  • Diagnostic fees are non-refundable once diagnostic work has been completed
  • If we cannot identify the problem, diagnostic fees may be waived at our discretion
  • Diagnostic fees are typically applied toward repair costs when repairs are authorized

Completed Services

  • Services that have been completed are generally non-refundable
  • If service does not meet our quality standards, we will re-perform the work at no additional charge
  • Parts and labor warranty applies to defective workmanship (see warranty section)

Partial Services

If a service is partially completed due to unforeseen circumstances or customer request, charges will be prorated based on work performed and parts used. Refunds will be calculated accordingly.

Parts and Materials

New Parts

  • Parts installed on vehicles are generally non-returnable
  • Special-order parts are non-returnable unless defective
  • Unused parts may be returned within 30 days for store credit (restocking fees may apply)
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to defective parts

Core Charges

Core charges for rebuildable parts (alternators, starters, etc.) will be refunded when the old part is returned in acceptable condition within 30 days of service.

Emergency Services

Service Call Fees

  • Emergency service call fees are non-refundable once our technician has been dispatched
  • Mileage charges apply based on actual distance traveled
  • If we cannot reach your location due to incorrect information, full charges apply

Towing Services

  • Towing fees are non-refundable once service has been initiated
  • Destination changes during towing may incur additional charges
  • Cancellation after dispatch but before service incurs minimum service charges

Warranty Claims

Service Warranty

We provide a 90-day/10,000-mile warranty on most repairs. Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period and include:

  • Original service receipt
  • Proof of proper vehicle maintenance
  • No evidence of misuse or abuse
  • Failure directly related to the original repair

Warranty Service

Warranty repairs will be performed at no charge for parts and labor. If a warranty claim is invalid, diagnostic and repair charges will apply. Towing for warranty service is not included unless the failure was due to our workmanship.

Dispute Resolution

Complaint Process

  1. Contact our service manager immediately to discuss the issue
  2. Provide detailed information about the problem and desired resolution
  3. Allow reasonable time for investigation and response
  4. Work with us in good faith to reach a mutually acceptable solution

Escalation

If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, disputes may be escalated to management or resolved through mediation. We are committed to fair and reasonable resolution of all customer concerns.

Refund Processing

Approved Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method when possible
  • Credit card refunds typically take 3-5 business days to appear
  • Cash refunds may be issued immediately or by check
  • Processing fees may be deducted from refund amounts

Refund Timeline

Most refunds are processed within 5-10 business days of approval. Complex cases involving warranty claims or dispute resolution may take longer to process.

Exceptions and Limitations

Non-Refundable Services

  • Completed diagnostic services
  • Emergency service call fees
  • Towing services after initiation
  • Special-order parts and materials
  • Services performed more than 30 days ago

Limitations

  • Refunds are limited to the amount paid for services
  • We are not responsible for consequential damages or lost profits
  • Refunds do not include compensation for downtime or inconvenience
  • All refund decisions are subject to management approval
